Job Title: Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor

Reports To: VP Brand Integration, Chief Executive Officer—Consumer

Summary: Responsible for managing consumer product and service launch programs by implementing program strategies, managing account teams and acting as the day-to-day contact with clients. Manager will oversee the program development and the content creation for client programs that include program development, traditional media campaigns, digital marketing initiatives and social media execution, creative assets, and general storytelling content. Works across the agency, practice areas and client programs, offering expertise and insights on social media program development, content creation, storytelling, editorial development and program execution. Acts as a project lead on key accounts as directed by the VP Brand Integration and CEO.

Client Account Service – 70%
Account Management, Content Creation & Execution for Traditional, Social and Digital Media Initiatives

  • Lead strategy and day-to-day account management for consumer client programs
  • Conceptualize, develop and implement innovative traditional media/digital/social/event programs for clients as part of regular program management
  • Support consumer product/service and B2B marketing campaigns with program and resource coordination
  • Direct teams and junior staff to implement work outlined in launch plan, including developing budgets, organizing events, leading media relations campaigns, editing and publishing content for client social marketing campaigns according to program scope
  • Develop and direct development of original materials including content, collateral, video, landing pages, templates, infographics and other assets for client programs as needed
  • Manage creation and quality standards for print, broadcast, media placements, and social content
  • Oversee management of social media channels for client social media accounts
  • Act as senior level client counsel and maintain two way communication with client and SA management
  • Anticipate potential problems/challenges before they arise and propose solutions
  • Review and manage monthly reporting for community management programs as needed
  • Monitor traditional media, digital marketing and social media news for trends and tactics that are applicable to client programs
  • React to crisis situations by informing a VP, President or CEO of issues that may affect the firm
  • Direct teams and junior staff to develop weekly/monthly client activity and digital reports

Incremental and New Business Development – 20%

  • Seek out ways to enhance existing client programs to grow the scope of work
  • Identify incremental projects that can generate revenue and use the full range of agency services
  • Demonstrate the ability to market and sell agency services and develop a thorough understanding of the services offered by SA
  • Attend networking events and cultivate new relationships that can lead to new business opportunities

Leadership and Professional Development 10%

  • Act as an ambassador for consumer client programs during agency meetings and regular staff meetings, providing ideas or updates on client programs and relaying the connection to other integrated marketing offerings (i.e., relating social media impact to media relations programs)
  • Lead educational seminars to enhance staff understanding of consumer marketing and launch techniques, social media, such as content creation, engagement, promotions and the impact on brand awareness and sales
  • Train staff on launch campaign execution as needed and support practice lead in presentations
  • Mentor junior staff on social media best practices, business acumen, professionalism, program management and other areas of expertise
  • Complete all required agency administrative duties and reinforce adherence to policies among junior staff
  • Develop trust and respect from clients, colleagues and SA management and demonstrate sound business judgement, effective administrative skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Enhance communication skills, gain industry knowledge and demonstrate independent problem solving and analytical skills


  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in integrated marketing, digital or public relations agencies, or equivalent combination of agency and non-agency experience
  • Passionate about traditional and social media, integrated marketing, design and public relations
  • Consumer product and service marketing experience a big plus
  • Strong project management, marketing and public relations abilities
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to respond quickly and solve problems independently
  • Excellent initiative and work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong writing, proofing, organizational and editing skills
