Last week, USA Today featured a snapshot of the results from the 2015 Most Memorable New Product Launch (MMNPL) survey. The survey, conducted annually by Schneider Associates and Sentient Decision Science, reveals the top 10 product launches consumers recognize as most memorable and the sources of influence used to discover and purchase new products. The snapshot announced five of the top 10 product launches of 2015.
New innovations in technology in 2015 ranked supreme for lasting influence, with Windows 10 leading the pack as the most memorable new product. A consumer favorite because of its ability to operate across multiple platforms and devices, Windows is on the leading edge of new industry trends and was the top most memorable product ahead of other products. Closely following Windows as the second most memorable new product launch of 2015 was the Apple Watch. While the only non-tech related product to make the top five was Oreo thins, several other food and beverage companies launched new products that landed in the top 10.
Stay tuned for the release of the full results of the 2015 MMNPL survey, including key insights surrounding consumer-purchasing behavior.
