Launch Research

When we say ‘we wrote the book on launch,’ we mean it. Literally.

It started with New Product Launch: 10 Proven Strategies, a how-to book that identifies the most effective strategies for product launch success. The book is based on academic research in partnership with Boston University’s Communications Research Center in 2000. In 2010, Joan Schneider published her second book on launching new products with co-author Julie Hall, entitled: The NEW Launch Plan: 152 Tips, Tactics and Trends from the Most Memorable New Products. Since the first book, our launch research has expanded into the corporate and B2B realms. Schneider Associates conducted a B2B Survey in conjunction with Babson College’s Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Research Center in 2001. We sought to uncover insights and information on how to effectively launch B2B products and services. The Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Research Center, which closely tracks trends in innovation, added important expertise about exploring how companies launch products and services that evolve from innovation efforts. When it comes to Public Affairs, we apply our launch model to designing and executing sophisticated public affairs outreach campaigns. Our proven Community Launch program uses a data-driven political campaign approach to target key constituencies and generate support for our client, issue or program. Our model consists of five key phases: Develop Vision, Build Support, Secure Approval, Launch Community and Engage Consumers. Over the years, our Community Launch process has achieved a successful track record in winning approvals for a broad range of projects in a variety of New England communities. Altogether, our firm has several decades of experience creating digital PR and marketing campaigns that make our clients’ new product or project introductions and programs top of mind for their clients or constituencies. We are adept at forming alliances, sponsorships and partnerships with the individuals, organizations and causes that can help make your launch successful, long-term. Most importantly, we no longer think in terms of B2C or B2B. These days, it’s B2E – business to everyone. Because, the truth is, everyone is a consumer – and a potential customer. We’ve helped differentiate a diverse range of companies and organizations, introduce new products, effectively handle crisis communications, reputation and issues management initiatives, and open doors and win Town approvals for new land use and development projects.
