Golf Town Opens 5 Massachusetts Stores To Help Golfers Gear Up For the Season!
To celebrate their arrival in the US, Toronto-based retailer Golf Town teed off VIP-style! The company rolled out the green carpet for special events created to spread the buzz about their new store openings. Golf Town held events on-site at their Seekonk store on March 22nd and at their flagship store in Watertown, MA on March 23rd, which were planned and coordinated by the Schneider Associates team. The events had excellent turnout, including local city council members, business owners, college sports directors and local celebrities – all who shared the company’s love ‘fore’ the game. CEO and New Bedford native Stephen Bebis was on-hand at the events, striking up conversations with guests and interviewing with the media. Two well-known local reporters, John Dennis of WEEI and Mike Lynch of WCVB, were at the grand opening of the Watertown store where they checked out some gear and provided interviews.


Golf Town is the second largest golf retailer in the world, with over 60 stores in Canada. The company opened five brand new stores on March 24th in the towns of Bellingham, Avon, Reading, Seekonk and Watertown, MA. Asixth store is slated to open in Northborough, MA in fall 2011.
